Platform Sales & Hire Ltd came to us at the tail end of 2014, requiring a complete redesign and reworking of their existing website. they required a content management system to be integrated to allow their staff to add, remove and update their new and used stock of platform lifts showcased on the website. For this we integrated Drupal, a CMS with a wide range of functionality and flexibility to allow us to achieve the desired result.

SEO & PPC Strategy

One of the priorities of the rebuild was to make the website much easier to navigate whether the customer was searching for a piece of specific machinery or brand. We were also asked to add a search component for the hire department to allow the users find a platform lift fit for their specific requirements.

Following the launch of the website in early 2015 we began working on strategies for both SEO and PPC Campaigns - improving their online presence and structuring it so that they got the most relevant traffic possible.

Marketing & Design

To coincide with the launch of the new website our marketing and graphic design experts set to work - raising awareness following the opening of a second depot in the West Midlands. This was achieved through an email campaign aimed at existing clients, with details of the new depot and a goodie box for the first 50 respondents to encourage customer engagement. The boxes were presented in a branded wrapper and contained 2 mugs, boxes of mints, coasters, pens, a corporate brochure, desk calendar and wall planner, all customised with corporate branding as well as sachets of tea and coffee.

Marketing efforts ongoing include monthly email campaigns, focusing on sales, hire, servicing and refurb and IPAF Training to existing customers as well as prospective clients. The success of which has meant sales in excess of £1,800 on training course enrolments.
